Christiana Soulou
Christiana Soulou was born in Athens in 1961. She studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts, Paris. She has exhibited throughout Europe; in 2009 she has already had a solo show at the National Art Gallery, Athens and an exhibition ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ at Sadie Coles HQ. She has participated in group exhibitions including Correspendences, Alpha Bank Institution and National Gallery, Athens, 2007, and Dream & Trauma: Works from The Dakis Joannou Collection, Vienna, 2007. She also took part in Of Mice and Men, the 4th Berlin Bienniale. A book of the artist’s writings was published by DESTE in 2007, to complement Fracture: Figure. She lives and works in Athens.
