David Korty
David Korty was born in 1971 in California. He studied at University of California, Los Angeles. His work has been exhibited widely, most recently at Sadie Coles HQ, London, 2008. A new catalogue of the artist's work, featuring a text by Rachel Kushner, has just been published by Sadie Coles HQ, Michael Kohn Gallery and Koenig Books London. Group shows include Painting Codes: I Codici della Pittura, GalleriaComunale d'Arte Contemporanea di Monfalcone, Monfalcone, Italy, 2006, and Landscape Confection, The Wexner Center for the Arts, Ohio, 2005. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
