GAM Galleria d'Arte Moderna, Milan

Conceived for the GAM, it is the first institutional exhibition in Milan of Ugo Rondinone, one of the most acclaimed international artists of his generation, born in Switzerland in 1964 to Italian parents and resident in New York since the late nineties.
Curated by Caroline Corbetta, the exhibition project, promoted by the Municipality of Milan I Cultura and GAM-Galleria d'Arte Moderna in collaboration with CMS. Cultura, offers a journey into Rondinone's personal history and collective memory, tracing correspondences between some of the museum's masterpieces and the artist's works related to the themes of the land and migration.
