77 and/or 58 and/with 19 is a collection of texts for 77 artworks by Darren Bader. Writing is at the core of Bader’s practice; each work begins with a written or verbal instruction for the exhibitor to carry out. Upon a work’s sale, these instructions are finalized in the form of a certificate, from which the collector  can use it to fabricate further iterations of the work. This publication collects these certificate texts for works from throughout the artist’s career. Images are used sparingly and only appear when the writing refers to specific photographs.
