The exhibition A.rtificial I.ntrospection O. (A.I.O.) examines thinking, perception and subjectivity in the field of tension between self-observation, cybernetics and artificial intelligence. The starting point is the work of the Austrian writer, mental psychologist and cyberneticist Oswald Wiener (1935 – 2021), whose original work has moved critically between these fields since the 1950sand systematically evaded institutional appropriation.
