The exhibition Berserk & Pyrrhia makes visible the circulation of medieval images and their subsequent appropriation, bringing medieval and contemporary art together. Medieval works are displayed on the Plateau and in the Reserves, thanks to loans from the rich heritage collections of the Île-de-France region, while works by contemporary artists, in turn, engage with medieval heritage by taking over the region's historical monuments, thus continuing this intergenerational and transhistorical dialogue.
