We invite everyone to step into the imaginative universe created by world-renowned British artist Monster Chetwynd. Now coming to Tartu after a successful run at Copenhagen Contemporary, this is the very first showing of the famed British artist’s work in the Baltic region.

Known for her distinctive DIY aesthetic, Chetwynd presents a spectacular total installation that combines humor, fantasy and grotesque elements to form a sensory exhibition space where visitors are encouraged to enter, play and become part of the work.

At the center is the Red Hat Shop, a new work created specifically for Copenhagen Contemporary, where everyone is encouraged to participate in a process of transformation through hats, masks and performative gestures. The shelves overflow with peculiar faces and twisted creatures, and on the green monster stage, anyone can step into a new version of themselves.
