Klara Liden

The monograph (0,0,0) is the most comprehensive examining of Klara Liden’s work today, and is an essential accompaniment to the artist’s three solo exhibitions at Kunsthalle Zürich (2025); KW Institute for Contemporary Art Berlin (2026), and soon to be experienced MoMA PS1 NY (2027). Surveying over two decades of her career, this catalogue follows the artist’s multifaceted practice that challenges the materiality of urbanity and the bodily processes of existing in the modern age. Through video works, performance, sculpture, structural intervention, and installation, Klara Liden questions the aesthetics of order by reappropriating the residuum of day-to-day living and reconfiguring our understanding of participation in shared spaces.
Co-published by KW Institute for Contemporary Art, MoMA PS1, Kunsthalle Zürich, and with DISTANZ, Berlin. This project includes newly commissioned texts by Kirsty Bell, Jordan Carter, Diedrich Diederichsen, Emma Enderby, Hendrik Folkerts, K8 Hardy, Fanny Hauser, Calla Henkel, Karl Holmqvist, Ruba Katrib, John Kelsey, and Lara Scherrieble.
