Bumped Body accompanies Paloma Varga Weisz's solo exhibition currently on view at the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht. The catalogue comprises a visual anthology Varga Weisz's oeuvre, documenting the various media she employs within her practice - including woodcarvings, ceramics, drawings, theatrical environments and films - along with biographical photographs. Charting the evolution of Varga Weisz's practice, the catalogue traverses’ themes that have come to characterise the artist's practice, from explorations into her own personal life, feminism and cultural histories, to those of humour and mortality.
