A comprehensive overview of the unique work of the Italian artist born in 1931 and 'discovered' late on the international scene, documenting the seventy artworks comprising of work on paper, fabrics assemblages, and collages, all produced between 2016 and 2024 on show during the exhibition at the Consortium Museum, Dijon. 

With accompanying essays and contributions from other artists like Tschabalala Self, this catalogue explores Isabella Ducrot's relationship with materiality and memory. Revisiting the artist's formative years spent travelling with her late husband, the inspiration from which their time spent amassing hundreds of Persian miniatures, Renaissance paintings, and rare antique textiles, is abundantly present in the tenderness of her artwork.
