Wilhelm Sasnal: Untitled (Reader) is an anthology of historical and newly commissioned texts that address the memory politics in Poland and elsewhere, as well as inquiry into root causes of contemporary racism and xenophobia in ‘perverted teaching and human hate and prejudice’.
The texts in the book are interspersed with reproductions of paintings Wilhelm Sasnal produced between 1999 and 2021.
Published on occasion of the exhibition Wilhelm Sasnal: Such a Landscape (17 June – 10 January, 2022) at POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, Warsaw.
