Jonathan Lyndon Chase (b. 1989, Philadelphia) is an American artist whose practice spans a variety of media, including painting, photography, sculpture and poetry. Characterised by a dynamic, expressionistic visual language, Lyndon Chase interrogates the boundaries between the public and the private in order to reveal queer Black subjectivity and identities. Simultaneously tender and visceral, their works conjure emotionally charged scenes, ranging from states of poignance and vulnerability to those of elation and pleasure.
