We Fight to Build a Free World is an exhibition curated by Jonathan Horowitz at The Jewish Museum, New York, between 01 October 2020 – 24 January 2021. The exhibition looks at how artists have historically responded to the rise of authoritarianism and xenophobia as well as racism, anti-Semitism, and other forms of bigotry.  Bringing together over 80 voices, We Fight to Build a Free World also addresses issues surrounding immigration, assimilation, and cultural identity, with new works by Horowitz and 36 newly commissioned posters by contemporary artists.

To accompany the exhibition this e-publication provides the viewer with a unique opportunity to visualise the works together with a curatorial statement by the artist.
